Sugobuy support contacts, status words and seven costly slips

Where to get help with an order, the words Sugobuy's pages use, answers to the questions first-time buyers ask most, and the mistakes that cost them money.

Getting a person on the line

For anything about an order, Sugobuy is the only party that can act. Need help with a stuck order? Use the Order Inquiry thread on the order itself, since it goes straight to the buyer handling it. For everything else there is the orange SUPPORT chat on every page, listed as 24/7, the email [email protected], and the Discord server. When something goes wrong after delivery, open after-sales from the Parcel page inside 72 hours and attach the photos the leg 6 page lists.

This site cannot see orders or accounts. Write to us only about a wrong figure or a broken link here; the address is on the about page.

Sugobuy status names and shipping terms, decoded

A short glossary of the terms and status names that come up across the six legs, in plain English.

QC
Quality check: the warehouse inspection and the photos it produces. On Sugobuy, three standard photos per item.
GL / RL
Green light and red light. Buyer shorthand for approving a QC photo set or rejecting it and asking for a return or exchange.
Stored
The status that puts an item on your Warehouse page and starts the 90-day storage clock.
Clear Balance
The real cost came out higher than you paid, usually domestic postage; pay the difference to continue.
Pending for confirmation
A buyer needs an answer from you before the order can move.
First weight / continued weight
The price of the first block of weight, and the price of each further block. Block sizes vary by line.
Volumetric weight
Box volume divided by the line's divisor; charged when it exceeds the scale weight.
Rehearsal packing
A paid trial packing, CN¥20, that reports the real parcel weight before you submit.
Electrified line
A line that accepts goods with batteries. Lines without it refuse them.
Tax Free tag
The line clears customs commercially. Lines without the tag can leave duty to the recipient.
IOSS
An EU scheme some Sugobuy routes offer, where VAT is paid in advance through the platform.
Domestic Return
Your parcel failed security screening inside China and came back to the warehouse.
Order withdrawn
Cancelled by you, by customs restrictions or for another reason; the money returns to your balance.

Ten answers drawn from Sugobuy's help centre

Ten points newcomers have frequently asked about, each answered from Sugobuy's own pages.

Does Sugobuy charge a fee for buying?

Its fee page says no purchasing fee on orders from regular platforms. You do pay the payment processing fee of the method you choose, the customs fee of about CN¥8 per parcel, and any extras you ask for.

Is the dollar price on Sugobuy the same as the yuan price on Taobao?

It is the yuan price converted with the site's own currency list, which valued a dollar at 6.22 yuan on October 21, 2026. Switch the display to CNY to see the seller's figure.

Why is my item Received but not in my warehouse?

Received means it has arrived but has not been inspected and weighed yet. It appears under Warehouse at Stored, usually about one working day later.

Can I ask for more photos than the free three?

Yes. Detailed photos cost CN¥1 each, up to 20, and you choose the angles. Ask before you submit the parcel.

Can I return something I have already shipped to myself?

Returns through Sugobuy happen in the warehouse within 120 hours of arrival. After delivery, the route is after-sales for defects or errors, reported within 72 hours.

Why does the parcel cost more than the estimate?

The estimate uses stored weights plus a packing guess. The warehouse weighs the packed box and the carrier may re-measure; if the billed weight is higher you are asked for the difference, and if lower it is refunded within 72 hours of dispatch.

Why can I not select some shipping lines?

Staff set mailing restrictions on each item, and lines that refuse an item in your selection grey out. View Reason names the rule.

Do coupons stack on a single parcel?

No. One coupon per parcel, applied on the submit page.

Is my tracking broken if nothing shows for days?

Probably not. Some lines stay silent for about three days after dispatch, and the second update can take three to ten days more.

What if customs holds my parcel?

Customs may ask the recipient for an invoice or clearance documents, which Sugobuy can supply; duties and clearance fees on lines without the tax-free tag fall on the recipient.

Judging Spreadsheet sites by dates, sources and broken links

Product lists for shopping agents go stale fast. How to spot a Spreadsheet site worth trusting, with this one held to the same five points:

  • It dates its facts. A fee or a shipping price without a date is a guess about today.
  • Its links still open. Click three category links at random; a dead shelf means nobody is checking.
  • It names its sources. Figures should point to the agent's own pages, not to other lists.
  • It admits conflicts. Agents' pages disagree with each other; a site that never says so has not read them.
  • It names an owner and gives an address for corrections.

Spreadsheet here means a browsable product catalogue organised by category, not a document of figures. The one on this site lives on the catalogue page.

Seven ways a first Sugobuy parcel goes wrong

  1. Choosing a numbered colour option without matching it to a photo, then finding the mistake in the QC photos after 120 hours.
  2. Leaving a cheap item in storage past day 90 and losing it to the abandonment rule.
  3. Paying with the method that carries the highest processing fee without checking the list at checkout.
  4. Keeping the shoe box on a line priced by volume.
  5. Adding batteries, liquids or perfume to a parcel and finding only expensive lines left.
  6. Signing for a dented box without a remark, which closes the transit-damage route.
  7. Opening a parcel with a missing item before weighing it, which removes the easiest evidence.

Each of these has a figure behind it on a leg page, and each is cheap to avoid if you know the number in advance.
